Dark Sumatran Coffee

Just south of Java, Sumatra is the largest island contained fully within Indonesian territory, and the 6th largest in the world. Sumatran coffee is unique in that it is wet-hull processed, giving it a distinct taste from typical wet, washed, or natural processing. 

Cupping Notes: Smooth earthy undertones with a low acidity. Smoky aroma.

This flavor profile shines when paired with a dark roast, so we have chosen to mainly offer this variety with a careful, even dark roast. Other roasts available upon request.
